General Contractors know that you need the work, so they just expect you to sign the subcontract they send you. Subcontracts favor the General Contractor every time, and why not - they can get away with it. They know it would be too expensive for you to hire a lawyer to negotiate for you. But you deserve protection too.
Contracts for Subs will review your subcontract in three business days or less, redline the subcontract so your interests are better protected and equip you with talking points to advocate your position during negotiations. We are not lawyers, but we know construction contracts at a fraction of the cost.
We are experts in contract review, providing tailored solutions and revisions for subcontractors. With years of experience in the construction industry, we understand the unique challenges you face when working with General Contractors and are committed to helping you increase profitably on projects with long term protection of your interests.
A real human, not Artificial Intelligence, reviews every word.
Contracts are tricky and include precise wording and language that a human can see, but does not always trigger AI correctly.
No one can eliminate risk in construction, but we can reduce it. We cannot promise that your subcontract will be lawsuit-free, but we can promise a significantly lower likelihood of that happening.
We'll review your next contract, while you finish another job

Contracts are turned around in 3 business days or less. We have seen two-page contacts that take five hours to review and twenty-five page contracts that take two hours to review. Review time is based on the complexity of the contract and the issues in each unique contract.
Just tax. There are no hidden fees or costs. There is no hourly fees or additional fees for customer service or administrative costs.
Ultimately the decision to accept or decline changes post contract review is yours. We will provide redlined documents and talking points to advocate for your position during negotiations, but the final form of the subcontract you accept is your decision.
No, there is one round of review per contract. The Essential Review Package and the Full Review Package offer follow-up discussions. Expedited reviews offer follow-up discussions as well.
Unless otherwise instructed, we will provide the documents in the way they were submitted. Most documents are editable PDFs.
Higher packages include all items reviewed from lower cost packages. Depending on the package chosen, items can include necessary contract elements like indemnification and payment terms, but other review packages also look at more complex language around schedules, warranties and protections of work. (This is not a complete list)
We do not review topics pertaining to scope, price, safety or site-safety requirements.
The post-review call is scheduled when the redlined contract is returned. The customer chooses time option that works best from the schedule provided with the returned documents.
